Noah Wasmer serves as senior vice president of mobile products at VMware, where he is responsible for directing the product strategy for VMware AirWatch®.
Prior to rejoining VMware in 2014, Noah served as iPad product marketing manager at Apple. He also served as VP of product and was part of the executive team at MobileIron. Before VMware in 2004, Noah was CEO and co-founder of Centered Networks, a startup that pioneered the delivery of remote desktops and end-user computing services from the cloud. After graduating from college, Noah invented Dotche, one of the first Internet services bridging donor interests and nonprofit initiatives. Many of the nation’s largest philanthropic foundations use Dotche. Noah has a BS in Psychology from the University of Arizona.
Erik Frieberg is vice president of marketing, end-user computing at VMware. Erik is responsible for the marketing and business strategy for all End-User Computing products including Horizon, AirWatch, Workspace and Socialcast. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience in marketing, product management and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining VMware, Frieberg served as CMO of MongoDB, the industry-leading NoSQL database. As the key marketing leader developing the GTM strategy for MongoDB, he helped take the company from a customer-base of a few dozen to its market-leading position. Before that, Frieberg was VP of Marketing for HP Software and has held similar roles at BEA, Borland and other startups.
Frieberg holds a master’s degree in management science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
Gabrielle Ferree shares the latest product updates and news for the AirWatch Blog. She has led VMware AirWatch media relations since early 2014 and enjoys sharing the stories that impact the enterprise mobility industry as it continues to rapidly innovate, evolve and grow. Gabrielle is passionate about technology and its limitless potential to bring together people, cultures and ideas regardless of where they are in the world. An Arizona native, Gabrielle graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in public relations from Auburn University.
Katie O’Laughlin leads customer relations at VMware. She enjoys combining her passion for writing with her interest in technology by developing stories that highlight companies across the globe that are revolutionizing their business through mobile innovation. Katie’s love for writing began at an early age and developed into a career after she graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in public relations and minors in communication studies and creative writing.
Shawn Bass is a recognized expert in the End-user Computing industry. With more than 20 years of consulting experience, he has worked with all facets of End-user Computing (terminal services, virtual desktops, application virtualization and enterprise mobility management) since the advent of these technologies. Shawn joined VMware in September 2014 to help lead and define a long-term strategy for VMware’s End-user Computing products and works closely with the product team in implementing that strategy. He currently serves as CTO of desktop technologies for VMware.
